The Honolulu J6CR is one of the best elongated power pickleball paddles of 2026. It pairs elite power and spin with a swing speed that's unusually fast for an elongated shape.
The Verdict
The elongated Honolulu, built for reach and put-aways.
Same Honolulu build, in an elongated shape with surprising swing speed. After thorough on-court evaluation, the Honolulu J6CR landed in the upper tier of the paddles we tested in 2026.
If you're comparing it against other foam-core paddles, it's one of several great foam core paddles we've played this year.

On-Court Feel
I didn't expect to like this paddle as much as I did. Elongated paddles usually feel like a trade-off — reach and leverage at the cost of quickness. The J6CR doesn't fully follow that pattern. The swing weight is low enough that it gets back into position faster than it has any right to, and the Core Reactor gives contact a pocketing sensation that feels more connected than most power paddles. Give it two sessions before you form an opinion.
Performance & Testing
The Honolulu J6CR went through our standard on-court protocol - drills, rec play, and at least one tournament match. Scores reflect consensus feedback, not a single reviewer's opinion.
Grit & Durability
Carbon fiber face shows really good grit retention. After 16+ hours, spin production stayed consistent. A Crystal Blue Endurance Surface™ version is coming pending USAP approval.
Who It's For
Offensive players who want an elongated shape with real power but without the sluggishness that usually comes with it.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Fast-swinging for an elongated
- Elite power and spin
- Massive sweet spot for the shape
- Outstanding value at this price
Cons
- Lower twist weight than the J2CR
- Not for pure kitchen players
- Elongated shape is less forgiving than a hybrid
Bottom Line
Best elongated power paddle we've tested so far in 2026.
Where the J2CR is the do-everything pick, the J6CR is built for the moments you want to end the rally.
